It's extremely rewarding to watch these folks achieve their individual goals and dreams. Whether it's taking the bus independently, starting a new job or going for a workout at their local gym, the pride they feel spreads a positive energy throughout the program.

What we do:

Community Connector North is designed to assist participants directly in their communities by helping them develop a greater capacity to be self-reliant and independent in their communities. Participants each have their own personalized weekly schedule with one consistent staff member. Goals vary for each person, but typically include skills in the areas of: bus training, money recognition, workplace and social etiquette, resume preparation, interview skills, computer skills and friendship building.

Program schedule:

Hours vary in accordance with participant schedules. Program hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm, with staffing available from 8:30am-4:00pm.
