An excellent team of staff and members make Ladner Connections a vibrant and positive place to be. It gives me great joy and tremendous satisfaction to see the members learn new skills, engage in the community and often give back to the community in any possible way. I look forward to each day at the program as I always learn something new!

What we do:
Ladner Connections places an emphasis on recreational activities and volunteer work, including regular volunteering at Earthwise Community Garden, South Delta Food Bank and the adopt-a-street program. Some members are supported at their jobs, such as landscaping and newspaper delivery. Life skills classes allow people supported at the program to become more independent and self-reliant, with topics like meal planning and cooking, iPad and computer skills and safety awareness. The group also knows how to unwind with regular activities of interest, including swimming, bowling and gardening.
Hours occasionally change to support activities of participants. Typical program hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-2:30pm, with staff available from 8:00am-3:30pm.
