Transitions from School to Adulthood | November 2, 2019 (family workshop)

This meeting will an introduction to the things families need to be aware of if they have a teenager with a developmental disability transitioning out of high school. It will include reviewing the processes and paperwork you will need to consider (eg: CLBC, STADD Navigators, applying for PWD) and identifying where to access support online and in your community. 
There will be plenty of opportunity for questions. This meeting is a must for families who have a youth with autism or a developmental disability aged 15 plus.

 

During the presentation there will be a light lunch so families can network and discuss issues about transitioning to adulthood.

 

Cost for families is $5.00. Cost for professionals is $20.00. Professionals must register by telephone 604.946.9508 ext 0.
